Lana, whose real name is Catherine Joy Perry, has a rather interesting history with regard to the connection between her social media presence and her on-screen character in the WWE. A few years ago, Lana was involved in a storyline whereby she was dating Dolph Ziggler and had separated from Rusev.

However, in real-life, Lana continued dating Rusev and would eventually go on to marry the latter -- with said marriage being revealed by way of social media. Moreover, Lana's feud with Naomi, at a time when the latter held the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship, had also notably originated after The Ravishing Russian repeatedly insulted Naomi on social media.

With that being said, in the here and now, the WWE may very well have booked a storyline whereby Aiden English is the one who's engaging in the notorious act of hacking his former best friend Rusev's beloved wife Lana.
