Will Asuka retain the SmackDown Women's Championship at Fastlane?
Asuka probably regrets being promoted to the main roster since her career has been in freefall for most of her stay. Asuka won the first ever Women's Royal Rumble but was unable to defeat Charlotte at WrestleMania, before she embarked on the worst run of her career when she was put in a feud with Carmella.

Since becoming Women's Champion last year, Asuka has been missing from WWE TV and didn't even defend her title at Elimination Chamber last month. The Empress of Tomorrow has struggled to remain relevant alongside WWE's bigger stars and seems to be living in the shadow of the Raw Women's Championship at present.
This scenario is made much worse by the fact that two SmackDown women are battling it out for the Raw Women's Championship opportunity at WrestleMania tonight, which shows that she isn't even seen as the desirable champion to face anymore.
