The Shield team together for the first time at Fastlane
The Shield team together for the final time tonight as they look to settle some business with WWE's newest up and coming trio in the form of Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre. The trio are already aware of The Shield's previous accolades as a team heading into tonight's showdown, but this is the first time Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have teamed together at a Fastlane pay-per-view.

In fact, this is the first time since the first Fastlane pay-per-view that all three members of The Shield have been on the card. 2016 was missing an injured Seth Rollins, 2017 was missing both Rollins and Ambrose and 2018 was SmackDown exclusive.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have been on opposing sides before whilst Seth Rollins has also been seen as the heel in The Authority, but since Fastlane pay-per-views began back in 2015 which was a year after the trio split, this is the first time they have been able to team together which is why many fans believe that this will be tonight's main event match.
