WWE Fastlane 2019: 5 matches that should have been booked for the event

Raw Women's Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

Ronda Rousey is having a whirlwind month as Raw Women's Champion.

Although the spectre of Becky Lynch would have been looming over this potential singles match whenever it would happen, the fact is that Lynch and Rousey should be facing off one on one at WrestleMania 35.

But Flair is a favorite of the Chairman and has been one of the top performers in WWE over the last couple years.

Instead of all of the unnecessary twists and turns that creative has thrown our way, the easiest thing would have been to have Lynch suspended for 30 days. Then proper time could have been devoted to the SmackDown Women's title to build to matches and Flair and Rousey could have settled their beef before WrestleMania.

Fans might have been mixed as to who to root for regardless since a portion of the WWE Universe will always root against Rousey and for Flair regardless of heel/face alignments.

Had the suspension been upheld, the heel turn could have been saved for before 'Mania and Lynch could have had time to heal.

They run the risk of overexposing her before she even gets to WrestleMania. And just think how much TV the actual feud will take up. If it's taken up so much time prior to April, how much more time will be devoted to it going forward.

But one huge fork in the road of WWE's Women's Divisions was the injury to Ember Moon. WWE could have still gone with the triple threat for the Raw Women's Championship but with less convoluted storytelling.

Moon could have challenged Asuka due to the abundance of history of the women back in NXT. But Moon got hurt and here we are.
