#3 - Let's further the angle, shall we?
The next finish could tie in a scenario that can easily take place and lead to a heel turn as we inch closer to WrestleMania 35. The idea that I am suggesting would see Shane McMahon being laid out backstage during the kickoff show.
The Miz is concerned for his partner, automatically assuming Jimmy and Jey Uso had something to do with it, as we see WWE security and EMT's evaluating Shane. This would leave his status for Fastlane "up in the air".
The show would go on, as we would learn that Shane McMahon is unable to compete tonight due to those injuries that were suffered (i.e. - concussion). Therefore, The Miz would bravely go at it alone by facing The Usos by himself in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match with the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships at stake.
The Miz would put up a fight, giving it all he's got, only to come up short as a two-man advantage would prove to be too much for The Miz to overcome.
We move on to the following SmackDown Live, where we would be provided with an update on Shane McMahon, as he would make an appearance for the first time since his injury at Fastlane.
A tearful Shane McMahon would be a guest on "MizTV", where we would have The Miz at ringside. Shane would come out in a sombre mood, feeling emotional, as he felt that he let The Miz down (ironically, a play on what The Miz had done weeks ago following Elimination Chamber). The Miz would accept the apology as the two embrace, etc.
Moments later, Shane would then attack The Miz when he is caught off guard and not expecting it, as he would turn heel in the process. Shane would go on the following week to say the whole "injury" angle at Fastlane was a setup by Shane McMahon as a means to set up The Miz for humiliation in front of his hometown crowd, that he was sick and tired of The Miz's attitude, his arrogance, telling the world how much he hated him and that everything that led up to this heel turn was an elaborate scheme from Crown Jewel to show that he is indeed the "Best in the World", not The Miz and not anyone else on the WWE roster.
Obviously, this angle would lead into a match at WrestleMania 35 between the two men. Perhaps a No Holds Barred or a No DQ match would be a great way to spice things up, since The Miz would be out for blood to get his vengeance on the man who has betrayed him and led him to believe that he was his best friend and partner.
