WWE Fastlane 2019: 5 Potential Finishes for The Miz & Shane McMahon vs The Usos

#4 - A little outside interference never hurts, or does it?

Going outside the box and thinking of other ways we could see an interesting finish for Fastlane. I have come up with an angle that would be controversial, yet intriguing from a wrestling perspective.

The angle suggested here would be played out at Fastlane, where we would see Naomi make an appearance at ringside during the closing moments of the match. Naomi, who we have to remember here is still a babyface character in spite of the heel Usos, would come out to obviously support her husband Jimmy Uso.

Naomi would become overzealous and carried away during the conclusion of the match, as she would watch The Miz and Shane McMahon close out the match, as The Miz would connect with a Skull Crushing Finale on Jimmy Uso in order to go for the pin attempt.

She would jump on the apron to distract the referee. In the meantime, Shane and Jey Uso are fighting on the opposite side of the ring on the arena floor, oblivious to what is happening inside the ring with Naomi and the referee.

Maryse, who we know is legit pregnant with child, would rush down to ringside and pull Naomi off the apron. Maryse and Naomi would start to argue at ringside, resulting in Naomi losing her temper and shoving Maryse down to the ground. Maryse would start to cry immediately, fearing that her unborn child is hurt.

Naomi, realizing what she had done, would quickly become apologetic but it's too little too late. The Miz breaks up his own pin, runs over the ropes and realizes what had just happened by putting two and two together. Before he could react, Jimmy Uso would quickly roll-up The Miz with a handful of tights to get the quick 1,2,3.

With The Uso's retaining their titles, the concern however quickly switches over to Maryse and her unborn child. The Miz rushes down to the arena floor, starts cursing at Naomi as he tends to his wife with tears flowing down their faces. The Uso's would quickly run over and grab Naomi to pull her away and to get the hell outta dodge.

This would lead into one final match between The Uso's, Shane McMahon and The Miz at WrestleMania 35. However, we would learn in the weeks leading into the match that Maryse and her baby is fine (thank god!), but the scar of what had happened would run deep, as The Miz would be looking to honour his wife and children for their humiliation.

As a twist, Naomi would be added to the match at WrestleMania in a 3-on-2 handicap match scenario, intergender style. Naomi can certainly go with anyone, man or woman, inside the ring and therefore that would be the payoff as we would see Naomi and The Miz have their angle play out with The Miz connecting with a Skull Crushing Finale to Naomi so that he and Shane could pick up the win and recapture the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.

Again, the angle is definitely controversial. It's meant to ruffle feathers, pull some strings, etc. Will it happen? Likely not, but it would make for some very interesting storytelling and to further push this feud to a whole new personal level.
