#3. Shield Spilt
The Hounds of Justice are back together. Again. While we have seen failed reunifications before, the latest couldn’t have come at a better time for the WWE.
The Big Dog is back and he is not outrightly being told that he sucks. Reigns has become the babyface he was supposed to be. Ambrose has shunned his horrific heel gimmick to ride with his brothers again before he leaves the WWE. Seth Rollins is just stacking up the numbers to counteract the inevitable Beast incarnate attack.
But, how long will the renewed alliance last? Is this just a one-off thing or are they really here to stay?
The split, however good it may sound, should not happen at Fastlane or even after the PPV. There were reports doing the rounds that WWE may want Reigns and Ambrose to square up against each other at ‘Mania.
As fresh as that sounds, it’s unwanted at this point as there are more pressing matters to tend to. Firstly, WWE needs to sustain Reigns’ momentum and avoid a situation where the fans to turn on him again. The only way to do that is to keep him with the Shield. Secondly and most importantly, the angle may just convince Ambrose to re-sign with WWE.
The last reunion was a dud and we, the fans, deserve a proper run this time around that ends up pushing all three stars to bigger and better things.
On a side note, Reigns is now rumored to face Baron Corbin at 'Mania. I know, it sounds horrible but that means the Shield may stay together after all.
