#4. More unwanted title changes

While I don’t mind the occasional swerve, playing hot potato with championships isn’t all that imaginative. I’ve already mentioned why Bryan needs to retain but there are other champs too who have to walk out of Fastlane with their straps intact.

For starters, Asuka just can’t lose to Mandy Rose. No chance in hell.

Both sets of men’s Tag Team Champions from Raw and SmackDown are in the infancy of their respective reigns and dropping it now will just take away all the momentum, not that they have much anyway.

I can see WWE booking Revival to lose the titles at Fastlane only to win it back at ‘Mania, however, it doesn’t help anyone in this situation.

The same can happen with Sasha Banks and Bayley, who will defend the Women’s Tag Team titles for the first time on PPV against Tamina and Nia Jax. A loss, again, would set things up for Banks and Bayley in an angle where they go on to reclaim the titles at ‘Mania.

However, WWE needs a big Women’s title match at the Show of Shows and need to keep the titles with the former Women’s Champions to make it a match worth tuning into.
