Both Superstars deserve a good storyline
Apollo Crews has another shot at Big E's Intercontinental Championship at WWE Fastlane. Crews brutally assaulted Big E on SmackDown to confirm his heel turn. The champion was forced to leave the ThunderDome on a stretcher. He also had to stay away from the Blue brand for a few weeks.

Meanwhile, Crews adopted the gimmick of a Nigerian Prince and he went toe-to-toe with Big E when the latter returned. While it would be far-fetched to expect a title loss for Big E at WWE Fastlane, it seems fair to expect that it won’t be a squash match.
If Crews sustains a terrible loss, all of his momentum since turning heel will take a serious hit. Instead, the creative should let Big E and Crews bring their best inside the squared circle. Crews was one of the breakout stars in WWE last year, and he has a lot of untapped potential.
He can continue his feud with Big E until WrestleMania after a close match at WWE Fastlane. It wouldn’t be the worst thing to see him eventually take the title off of Big E so that the latter is finally free to feud with Roman Reigns.
