The Universal Championship is being defended this weekend at WWE Fastlane when Daniel Bryan challenges Roman Reigns. The Championship was only introduced to WWE back in 2016 when it was won by Finn Balor at SummerSlam, which means that there isn't a lot of history to the belt.
That being said, the Championship has been defended at Fastlane in the past when Kevin Owens was pitted against Goldberg. This is one of the shortest matches in the history of the Championship, since Chris Jericho went on to cause the distraction which led to Goldberg being able to defeat Owens in 22 seconds.
It's also interesting to note that Kevin Owens was never handed a rematch for the title following this loss, since he went on to face Jericho at WrestleMania instead.
It's likely that the match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will last much longer than this, but since their match at Elimination Chamber last month was quite a short affair, it's hard to predict what WWE has planned this weekend.
