Zayn spent weeks talking about his consecutive losses on SmackDown is a part of an elaborate controversy. He asked Kevin Owens to stay at ringside and look for anything bizarre during his match. As it turns out, Zayn was right as a WWE official purposely delayed the attack that led to him losing the match.
Owens did not see that part, and Zayn begged his friend to understand that he can’t say anything. Out of nowhere, Zayn ran towards KO, who was still seated at the announce desk, and hit him with a Helluva kick. The latter is expected to address the turn of events on SmackDown later this week, and it could lead to a match at WWE WrestleMania.
Considering that Zayn is telling the truth, this storyline won’t be over with a match between the two superstars. Owens will eventually find out that his friend was right, and he will help him against the common enemy. KO and Zayn’s real-life relationship allows them to create very convincing narrations on the screen. They always work wonders together, and the WWE Universe is looking forward to an exciting storyline involving the two best friends once again.
