Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair teamed up at WWE Fastlane to challenge Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for their women’s tag team championships. Jax and Baszler ended up defending their titles following an underwhelming match between the two teams. However, this loss finally marked the beginning of a feud between Banks and Belair ahead of their SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.

At the pay-per-view, Belair was on the verge of pinning Baszler, but the match official was distracted by Banks and Reginald at ringside. Belair started blaming her tag team partner for being distracted. An arrogant Banks then yelled at Belair and labeled her as a ‘rookie’. While Banks was busy sending Belair away from the ring, Baszler sneaked up from behind and pinned The Boss to pick up an easy win at Fastlane.

Frustrated with the loss, Banks slapped Belair, and the latter did not respond kindly to the same. She sent a clear message that, come WrestleMania, she will go after Banks’ title with no remorse. The feud between the two superstars needed to heat up on WWE SmackDown. The creative now have a few weeks to make their title rivalry more intense as we inch closer to The Show of Shows.
