#3. Dean Ambrose - Dirty Deeds
Whether face or heel Dean Ambrose is, and always will be, a fan favourite. His current lengthy absence will no doubt guarantee an enormous pop whenever and wherever he returns. Though not as technically gifted as Seth Rollins or powerful as Roman Reigns, Ambrose was a made man when The Shield was created. Since the breakup he has held numerous titles though, unfortunately, most of his reigns have been forgettable. Ambrose is a great wrestler overall and can be a great talker with the right material. So what's the issue?
For me, personally, it's some of the moves, or lack of moves, in his arsenal. I get that Dean is supposed to be unhinged, but his strikes appear very weak at times. Whilst he has a lot of technical ability, this is often sacrificed for moves like his Rebound Clothesline, which Dean busts out in every single one of his matches. Moves like that should be saved for the big matches.
Which brings us to Dirty Deeds- Which is basically a double-underhook DDT, the move just isn't "crazy" enough for some like Ambrose. It's too safe. It's too easy. All of the wild offence Dean hits opponents with and he finishes them with a DDT? It must be said, though, that the previous rendition of this move looked much more effective and damaging. Clearly, though, for PG reasons, it had to be removed. In the words of the New Day: "Shame!"
