#2. Mickie James - Mick Kick

Mickie James is an awesome wrestler - please give her a better finisher!

I, for one, was thrilled when it was announced that Mickie James, a former 6-time women's champion, would return at NXT Takeover: Toronto to challenge Asuka. Asuka was absolutely dominating at the time in NXT; there was nobody left on the roster who could credibly stake a claim to challenge her. That must be why WWE decided to bring in an experienced, proven awesome wrestler like Mickie to take up the challenge. In a time when WWE's women were treated very poorly, Mickie always stood out as being one of the best on the roster.

Her inevitable recall to the main roster following this has been inconsistent. It's clear she can still go in the ring and has always been underused on the mic. Her matches are good most of the time and her return to the main roster will certainly benefit the younger, up-and-coming superstars, being able to wrestle a woman with so much experience.

While I enjoy watching Mickie in the ring, I always have to turn away when she goes for her finisher. Both of her finishers, actually. The Mick Kick is a finisher Mickie has been using for most of her career. While a few of her opponents may be able to sell it well, the move on a whole is very slow and, most of the time, completely misses the opponent. It's such a shame that such a good wrestler has this as her finisher. Her secondary finisher, the jumping DDT, does not fare much better. It relies heavily on the strength of her opponent to lift Mickie up to provide the impact. This leads to, most of the time, Mickie not getting enough height on the move, making it look weak and not very impactful. Please WWE; give Mickie a new finisher worthy of her accomplishments!
