– NXT has been a huge platform for the WWE to groom and develop talented wrestlers. NXT has been instrumental in paving the way for superstars to make the final push towards the main roster.
A majority of these stars have been successful while some have been disastrous due to bad booking decisions such as Adam Rose. NXT has given out various stars such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, the Wyatt Family and others out of which most of them have held titles with Rollins and Reigns winning the top prize.
This year divas like Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks have made the jump along with Braun Strowman.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been former NXT Champions and have been successful on the main roster. It looks like Finn Balor may come up to the main roster – which is extremely exciting for the fans.
He exudes confidence with his in-ring ability and charisma. WWE.com contested a poll on who would be the next NXT superstar or diva to come to the main roster. 66% voted for Balor, 29% voted for Bayley while 5% voted for the Mechanics.
The next call up would definitely add more freshness to the product as a whole.
