As we reported yesterday, Brock Lesnar faced off against the Celtic Warrior in a hard hitting encounter – something that was expected from two of the best brawlers the WWE has to offer.
The match was featured in WWE’s live event in Houston and was a brief 10-minute match. Lesnar went on to defeat Sheamus in the brief showdown not before putting on a very stiff match.
According to reports, Lesnar suffered two visible marks on his face that were a result of two Sheamus Brogue Kicks. Eyewitnesses also claimed that the Beast was bleeding at one stage in the match.
At the end, Sheamus was taken on an inevitable tour around Suplex City, as the former WWE champion took 10 German suplexes from Lesnar throughout the match.
The WWE Universe always wondered how a bout between these two would be, and now they have an answer – a brutal and hard-hitting matchup.
The 10-minute match saw Sheamus mounting a considerable amount of offence, only to fall short against the suplex machine. Below is the full match video:
The live event also saw Chris Jericho’s in-ring return in a non-title match against Alberto Del Rio. Y2J – to the delight of the fans – won the match and opened the show with a solid match from bell to bell.
