If the WWE decides to continue with their flip flop booking of title matches, then there is a very real possibility that the WWE Raw Tag Team title belts could be back in the possession of Matt and Jeff Hardy come WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017.

It would add some extra fire to the rivalry and keep it going on for longer but this would also severely compromise the momentum that Sheamus and Cesaro have built for themselves since turning heel.

Another reason to put the belt on The Hardy Boyz could be that there are no real babyface tag teams left to challenge the two Europeans since Big Cass turned on Enzo Amore, so it might make sense for the Hardy brothers to take on new contenders, possibly in the form of The Revival.
