The Miz (C) vs Dean Ambrose (for the WWE Intercontinental Championship)

The Miz was accompanied by the Miztourage and his wife Maryse as he came out to face Dean Ambrose.

Miz started the match on top before Ambrose reclaimed the momentum with a swinging neckbreaker. Ambrose followed it up with a superplex for a 2-count.

Ambrose looked like he was bleeding from the mouth as Miz locked in a Figure 4 Leglock. Dean somehow pulled himself to the bottom rope to break the hold. Ambrose struggled to get back to his feet as Miz smelt blood.

Miz followed it up with the “It” kicks. Ambrose replied by slapping Miz across the jaw before hitting him with a flying elbow drop. Maryse got on the apron at this point to distract the referee as Miz looked to hit the Skull Crushing Finale.

Dean avoided the move before Bo and Axel dragged him out of the ring. Ambrose took both of them out before dodging The Miz and launching himself from the top rope at all three men.

Back in the ring, he hit Miz with a Dirty Deeds but Maryse put Miz’s foot on the bottom rope. Axel intervened next but Ambrose took him out. Bo hit Ambrose from behind at this point before Miz hit him with a Skull Crushing Finale for the pinfall victory.
