Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman (Ambulance Match)

Braun charged at Roman as soon as the match started, which Roman dodged and hit Braun with a flurry of offence which seemingly had no effect in the giant. Strowman joined Roman at ringside after which Roman sent the big man crashing face-first into the ringpost. Strowman replied by launching Roman back-first into the ringpost before going over to pick up steel steps. He drove the steps into Roman’s head before missing with the third attempt.

As Braun made his way back up to his feet, Roman hit him with a flurry of kicks and punches but once again, it didn’t look to have much effect. Braun picked Roman up and hit him with a reverse Chokeslam.

Strowman then picked Roman up and looked to drag him to the ambulance. Roman broke out of it and returned to the ring. Roman started to attack Strowman’s surgically replaced elbow.

Roman then took out a chair and smashed Braun’s arm. Roman hit Strowman with more steel chairs but they had no effect. Strowman just grabbed the chair and tossed it away before sending Roman crashing into the guardrail. Braun then sent Roman crashing into the LED hoarding.

The fight then spilled near the ambulance as Strowman tried to get Roman inside. The duo battled back and forth in front of the ambulance as a desperate Reigns tried to stuff Braun inside the ambulance. Strowman picked up a backboard from the ambulance and used it as a weapon, repeatedly hitting Roman with it. Braun then charged at Reigns, who dodged, sending Braun crashing headfirst into the LED hoarding. Unshaken, Braun then looked to hit a running powerslam, but Reigns broke free and sent Braun crashing through an entire LED board. Strowman replied by launching Reigns into the ambulance.

A desperate Reigns hit Braun with a light before looking to spear him but Braun sidestepped him, sending Roman crashing into the ambulance. Braun closed the doors to win the match.

Roman emerged from the ambulance and blindsided Braun before trapping him inside the ambulance. Roman then drove the ambulance backwards into a truck.

Kurt Angle was backstage and called the fire department to free Strowman.
