The excitement for RAW on Netflix is growing, especially considering it's just a few hours away. Expectations are high for the show that will supposedly be on the level of a PLE. Given the magnitude of the situation, WWE is pulling out all the stops. But, does this include having a Hall of Famer kick off the show?
The answer to this question could quite possibly be "Yes". According to WrestleVotes, WWE's CCO and Hall of Famer, Triple H, who has been credited for the company's incredible success since taking over the creative team, will kick off RAW on Netflix. What's more, he will do so in quite some style.
As per WrestleVotes' report, RAW on Netflix will have a historic cold open, which will center around "The Story of Wrestling". It will feature several iconic superstars and some even more iconic moments on a ring canvas. Through it all, Triple H will be there, voicing over the visual, officially kicking off the show.
"I’m told tonight’s historic cold open for Monday Night RAW will center around ‘The Story of Wrestling,’ featuring iconic superstars and moments painted on a ring canvas. An artistic and striking visual, voiced over by Triple H, will kick off the broadcast on Netflix," wrote WrestleVotes.
It will be interesting to see just how this special kickoff pans out. But, if Triple H is going to be the one behind it, there is no doubt it will be incredible.
WWE promoted RAW on Netflix with a mind-blowing drone show
As mentioned earlier, WWE is treating the RAW on Netflix premiere like a PLE. As such, they're pulling out all the stops, and that applies to their advertising as well. Case in point, last night, the company released a video of a mind-blowing drone show promoting the event.
The show lit up the night sky in Los Angeles and featured a number of iconic logos closely associated with WWE. Of course, both companies' logos were present, as were those of Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, and Rhea Ripley among others. Even legends like John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin had their logos emblazoned on the sky.
Everyone will be waiting to see just what happens inside the Intuit Dome. And, given how WWE has planned this, it's safe to say, it will be a very memorable night.
