WWE Hall of Famer to return and win a title after 12 years? Exploring the possibility

WWE RAW could see a huge return shortly.
WWE RAW has a star-studded roster

WWE could have a huge surprise in store for fans in the coming days as a Hall of Famer could return to win a championship after 12 years. The name in question is none other than Beth Phoenix.

As you may know, the latest episode of WWE RAW saw Natalya join forces with Nikki Cross to take on the current Women's Tag Team Champions, Piper Niven and Chelsea Green, in a non-title match. However, Cross abandoned her partner during the encounter. This led to the current champions dominating The Queen of Harts before pinning her.

Given how things unfolded, it wouldn't be surprising if WWE has Natalya's real-life best friend and her former tag team partner, Beth Phoenix, return to help her. The creative team could have The Divas of Doom reunite before challenging Piper Niven and Chelsea Green for the Women's Tag Team Title.

If that is true, fans should expect the duo of Natalya and Phoenix to make easy work of Niven and Green to become the new Women's Tag Team Champions. The last time The Glamazon secured a title in WWE was in October 2011. Hence, this potential angle could see her win a major championship in the Stamford-based promotion for the first time in 12 years.

Natalya on WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix

Natalya opened up about her relationship with former Divas Champion Beth Phoenix in her blog for the Calgary Sun in 2018.

Sharing an incident from her past, Natalya revealed how she and Phoenix supported each other during tough times.

"The last two months have been challenging for me personally because, as many of you know, my father, WWE legend Jim Neidhart, passed away suddenly. It's something I'm still trying to wrap my head around. I remember my best friend Beth Phoenix dropping everything to fly and see me during that difficult time, as she knew just how much my dad meant to me."

The Queen of Harts continued:

"Just a few weeks after my dad's passing, Beth's father passed away suddenly. My heart hurt for my friend, and I got on a plane to do for my friend what she had done for me a few weeks earlier: be there for her. You'll never guess what has been one of the most therapeutic tools in helping us both through these difficult times. Beth and I got together and found ourselves laughing so hard and smiling ear to ear, getting lost in our passion for wrestling and watching females whom we got to share the ring with."
