WWE Hall of Fame 2016: Jacqueline Moore to be inducted in this year's class

Jacqueline Moore is the latest WWE Hall of Fame inductee

Jacqueline Moore has worked for ECW, WCW, WWE and TNA and has been a trailblazer for women in pro wrestling. She began training in 1980 at Skandor Akbar’s academy and was the lone female wrestler there. She travelled to various parts of the world, including Japan to enrich her skills as a wrestler.

In 1997, Jacqueline made her WCW debut but within a year in 1998, she was seen in WWE/F. On her debut on WWF tv, she aided Marvelous Marc Mero in his quest to take back the spotlight from Sable. Soon, she captured a victory over Sable, becoming WWF Women’s Champion. She won the title for the second time in 2000.

Making her return to WWE, she answered Chavo Guerrero’s open challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship successfully and gained the gold. She is the first ever lady in the WWE to win the Cruiserweight Championship.

Apart from her wrestling career, Jacqueline has served WWE in several ways. She has been a trainer and mentor to the future WWE superstars and Divas in the First season of WWE Tough Enough – where she even played the role of a referee.

Jacqueline will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2016, along with Sting, Godfather, Big Boss Man and Fabulous Freebirds in Dallas, which is also her hometown.
