Moments ago, WWE confirmed that rap singer Snoop Dogg will be inducted into the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame celebrity wing. Snoop's entry into the Hall of Fame means that he will be joining the likes of former Baseball star Pete Rose, boxing legend Mike Tyson, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and 2016 US President Polls candidate Donald Trump in WWE’s Hall of Fame celebrity wing.
With this, Snoop also becomes the first musician to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He is a familiar face when it comes to WWE as he has pulled plenty of stunts with the company over the years.
Some of his appearances include serving as Master of Ceremonies for a "Lumberjill" match at WrestleMania 24, guest host for Monday Night Raw in 2009 in which he took out Chavo Guerrero and at last year’ go-home show to WrestleMania, he joined Hulk Hogan tossed Curtis Axel over the top rope.
Snoop will be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016 alongside Sting, the Godfather, the Fabulous Freebirds, Big Boss Man, Jacqueline and Stan Hansen. The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on April 2, the night before WrestleMania 32 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
