WWE Hall of Famer reveals depression issues, new career

WWE legend, Jake “The Snake” Roberts has revealed that he has been diagnosed with depression which caused him to be dependent on drugs and alcohol for a long time.

The Hall of Famer was there at a Q&A in South Carolina this weekend, where he admitted to being chemically self-medicated, “but now I'm taking the right medication and feel great."

Roberts mentioned about Diamond Dallas Page's "Accountability Crib" program which as helped him to be sober and has allowed him to pursue new career opportunities in movies, voice-overs, and public appearances.

"Possibilities are endless because you can get a job when you're sober," he said. He added that he has "reclaimed my family."
