We know that Miz and Morrison teamed up to bribe JBL to make a match for the Money in the Bank contract official on the episode of SmackDown prior to WWE Hell in a Cell 2020. It is very unlikely at this stage that Vince McMahon believes that Otis is not worthy of holding the Money in the Bank contract, as the internet speculation seems to be, and there's always the possibility that when The Miz and John Morrison are up to their devious tricks, there is a miscue leading to The Miz losing his match at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020.

Female superstar says she inspired John Cena turning heel HERE
The Miz could blame John Morrison for his loss at WWE Hell in a Cell and this could lead to the dissolution of the tag team, and straight into a Miz vs. Morrison feud that could do wonders for both men. Each would bring out the best in the other man, over the following weeks.
