#1 Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt ended in a referee stoppage at WWE Hell in a Cell

The main event of last year’s WWE Hell in a Cell saw Seth Rollins defend his Universal Championship against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt inside the demonic structure. The WWE Universe was looking forward to this match and the arena was bathed in red lighting.

Rollins hit The Fiend 11 Stomps and a Pedigree during the match, but the latter kicked out from every pinfall attempt. Out of desperation, The Architect used several weapons, which forced the referee to end the match without a winner. After the match, The Fiend rose once again to attack Rollins and lay him out with a couple of Sister Abigails and The Mandible Claw.

Rollins is now a heel in WWE, where he has been drafted to SmackDown. He is playing the role of The Messiah and seems to be working well as a major heel in the company. Rollins is part of a bitter rivalry with Rey Mysterio and his son.

Wyatt, on the other hand, has been drafted to WWE RAW, where he has aligned himself with Alexa Bliss. Both Superstars are doing a terrific job at building their story and partnership.

Currently, neither Superstar is booked for a match at this year’s WWE Hell in a Cell.
