WWE booking Otis to defend his Money in the Bank contract at Hell in a Cell doesn't really come as a surprise to fans. While we've hardly seen a Superstar defending his Money in the Bank contract, Otis will be doing that this Sunday against The Miz.

Otis winning the Money in the Bank match was arguably one of the biggest shockers that WWE pulled off this year. Unfortunately, that hasn't really turned out well as Otis has no momentum whatsoever to be taken as a serious threat to someone like Roman Reigns who currently holds the Universal Championship. In fact, Otis hasn't even tried cashing-in on him.

There's something about WWE booking this match at Hell in a Cell which seems to hint that Otis might be losing his Money in the Bank contract. One interesting way to do that would be to let Mandy Rose turn on him and cost him the match. While their love angle worked very well earlier, it is not going anywhere.

With Mandy being drafted to RAW as well, this could be a good way to end this alliance which doesn't seem to have any proper future. WWE can't let Otis appear on RAW so much that it devalues the entire purpose of brand exclusivity.
