All signs point towards Roman Reigns putting his Universal Championship on the line against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020.

The Big Dog won the Universal Championship in a Triple Threat match against “The Fiend” and Braun Strowman at the Payback pay-per-view in August, while he successfully defended the title against Jey Uso at Clash of Champions.

“The Fiend” has not competed in a match since Payback but it will surely not be long before he targets the Universal Championship again. After all, Wyatt’s alter-ego was not pinned in the Triple Threat match, so he has every right to demand a one-on-one rematch at Hell in a Cell.

Alexa Bliss, who has seemingly been possessed by “The Fiend”, stared at Reigns on last week’s episode of SmackDown after they crossed paths on the entrance ramp.

That lengthy stare was proof enough that this storyline is bound to be revived on the first episode of SmackDown after Clash of Champions.

If the rivalry leads to a match at Hell in a Cell, it is definitely worthy of taking place inside the cell.
