While Sasha Banks had an opportunity to go after a huge personal achievement in WWE, Bayley already has several of those accolades to her name. In fact, at the Hell in a Cell PPV, she lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship after a historic 380-day reign. Not to forget, the same run with the gold also saw her become the first women’s Grand Slam Champion as well as the Triple Crown Champion in WWE.

In her memorable SmackDown Women’s Championship reign in WWE, Bayley had her fair share of highs and lows. She turned heel and shocked the Universe and then evolved her gimmick from a cowardly villain to a brutal one. She also locked horns with almost everyone on the Blue brand and went on to become one of the most dominant women’s champions in the promotion’s history.

Given the above-mentioned facts, one can argue that there was nothing left for Bayley to achieve on WWE SmackDown. In fact, any further extension of her title reign would have made her extremely monotonous. Therefore, it was a good decision to take the title off of her and put it on Sasha Banks, who is set to script a new chapter in WWE.
