At Money in the Bank 2020, Otis defeated AJ Styles, Aleister Black, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, and Rey Mysterio by climbing up the ladder and pulling down the Money in the Bank briefcase. His briefcase is now under threat at Hell in a Cell.

During his initial days as Mr. Money in the Bank, Otis teased cashing in his briefcase against the WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman a couple of times. Since then, he has mostly used it as a prop in his rivalry against The Miz and John Morrison, which has now been going on for some time.

The Miz finally got himself a chance to challenge Otis for the Money in the Bank briefcase at Hell in a Cell. This match will likely be very interesting and filled with a few distractions from John Morrison and Tucker.

While Otis seemed like a good candidate to carry the MITB briefcase at first, it feels like he won’t be able to cash it in successfully, especially with Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion.

Keeping that in mind, WWE could book Otis to lose the match thanks to some distractions or a betrayal by Tucker and award the briefcase to The Miz, who can do much more with it in the current situation.

At Hell in a Cell, we will most probably watch the MITB briefcase change hands so that The Miz can cash it in at some point before the next MITB event.
