Drew McIntyre was given his final shot at Bobby Lashley as the WWE Champion last night at Hell in a Cell but came up short.
It was believed that there would be a controversial finish to the match which would see a return or surprise interference that would allow the feud to continue. This wasn't the case and the match ended with a roll-up instead. McIntyre will now be sent to the back of the queue for the WWE Championship.

There was a point in the match where fans believed that interference would come from inside the Hell in a Cell structure. The moment came after McIntyre was put through a table. A hand appeared from under the ring just as the camera moved towards McIntyre following the spot.
The hand appeared to be a member of WWE's production crew pushing a table out from underneath the ring. Many fans had hoped that it was Brock Lesnar making his long-overdue return.
