There was nothing wrong with Randy Orton becoming the WWE Champion at WWE Hell in a Cell because, for him, to lose for the third time in a row would have been absolutely crazy. Randy Orton is also a proven asset and RAW ratings haven't exactly been the strongest, so one has to gauge whether putting the title on him could turn the fortunes for RAW around, in the weeks that follow after WWE Hell in a Cell.
One just has to wonder if it was the right call for this match to close out the show, because while it was not bad per se, it was the weakest of the three matches inside WWE Hell in a Cell from the event, and many on the internet have voiced their opinion about the same as well. But that aside, it was a fairly great event, and the spot where McIntyre crashed through the table was certainly a really fun moment.
