The Cruiserweight division of WWE has been failing. Though it was fun to see the fast paced action return to WWE programming, the execution from WWE has been all over the place. The WWE Universe is still not familiar with most of the cruiserweights in the division and that is where the problem starts.
The art of professional wrestling has thrived on its ability to tell stories throughout its history, but it’s hard to tell a story if the characters aren’t known. Yes, if the fans isolate the match and enjoy what is happening inside the ring, they could enjoy the story.
But the problem is, WWE has moulded their fans differently. There is only a small portion that would enjoy matches as an isolated entity. The others, they would need a good storyline backup if they are to be engaged. As for the winners, it doesn’t matter who takes the win, but for the sake of predictions.
Prediction: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara wins.
