Alexa Bliss takes on Trish Stratus at Evolution on October 28th and it was thought that this would be a much bigger match for Bliss if she walked in with the Raw Women's Championship. Stratus is a former seven-time Women's Champion, a record that has now been equaled by Charlotte following her SummerSlam victory, which is why a Women's Championship match at Evolution made sense.

Stratus could become an eight-time Champion if she defeats Bliss for the title and would then have a deciding past vs present match with Charlotte. It seemed as though it was the best option for the title moving forward until Rousey took the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam, but this is Bliss' chance to win it back but it won't be easy since Rousey is still undefeated.
