At SummerSlam, The New Day defeated The Bludgeon Brothers by DQ when Erick Rowan panicked and hit Xavier Woods with one of his big hammers.

The finish felt a little bit lame after what had been a solid match-up, but it does at least guarantee The New Day a rematch. The biggest issue with The Bludgeon Brothers is that they have been booked in nothing but squash matches for the last six months, so it was a refreshing change to see another team booked strongly against them.
