Asuka and Kairi Sane are the new Women's Tag Team Champions
The Women's Tag Team Championships were on the line at Hell in a Cell after a last-minute announcement stated that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross would defend against Asuka and Kairi Sane. This matchup came about because The Kabuki Warriors were able to defeat Fire & Desire a few weeks ago on SmackDown Live which thrust them into the Championship picture.

Asuka and Sane looked as though they were turning heel throughout the match, which was further proved when Alexa Bliss made it to the ropes whilst she was stuck in Asuka's ankle lock, but The Empress of Tomorrow didn't break the hold. The referee should have continued the five count and then forced the Superstars to break the hold since the rules state that there has to be definite separation between wrestlers after a wrestler makes it to the ropes.

There was another botch later in the match when the women went for the hot tag and for some reason the face team made the tag first when it's always supposed to be the heels who tag out before the faces.
