#1 Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon (Hell in a Cell Match)
This angle between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon started off red hot, with KO cutting a "pipebomb" promo on his boss. Since then, some of the buzz has worn off. Owens defeated Shane O'Mac in a standard affair at SummerSlam, but since then McMahon has gone out of his way to make Owens' life a living hell. The former Universal Champion was fined a hefty amount for putting his hands on an official and was later fired after officiating a King of the Ring tournament match that McMahon lost.
KO has now come back, threatening to sue Shane for wrongful termination. While he has not been booked like the badass anti-authoritarian who doesn't care about consequences, Owens has been presented in a more realistic light. He is extremely relatable in his current role and the beatdown heading Shane's way would be much more effective for it. Wrestling fans haven't seen a Stunner in a while.

This could all be leading to a Hell in a Cell match between the two, where each of their jobs are on the line. It wouldn't be the first time that Owens and McMahon have faced each other inside the satanic structure, as the two previously battled at the 2017 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. KO was actually the heel in that match, coming out victorious following a terrifying bump from Shane O'Mac. Hopefully, the outcome remains the same, even if the alignments have changed.
