This match is more in hope than expectation. The recent pairing of Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler led to many fans scratching their heads, as did their subsequent victory at Clash of Champions.
It's not that they aren't a talented duo. It's more the fact that there are more deserving tag teams on the main roster who deserve a run with the tag-team title belts. The belts have struggled to feel legitimate in the past couple of years and a big reason for that is that several seemingly random teams have held them.
The biggest feud brewing in the Raw tag team division right now is between the Viking Raiders and The OC. The two teams have been going back and forth in recent weeks and while a showdown between the two teams would make sense, it would be nice to see the tag team titles involved here.
The Raw tag team division needs matches that aren't just thrown together at random and at least the feud between The OC and The Viking Raiders would provide some content for this match.
