The New Day and The Usos were in a really long feud in 2017. The Smackdown tag titles moved between the hands of these two for numerous times. Their blow off match for the coveted tag team titles was set to take place inside Hell in a Cell at the namesake PPV in 2017.

This match is the proof that Tag team matches can be alluring and brutal when done right. New day and Usos went into an all-out war against in each other. Everything about this match was savage. The in-ring punishments, the torture and even Kofi Kingston's helplessness outside the cell were part and parcel of the excellence of this match. This match was so good that even the crowd, who generally are not much invested in tag team matches, started chanting "This is awesome" and "Fight forever".

There were so many memorable moments in this match, including Big E's dangerous suicide spear, the vicious punishment of Xavier Woods, and Woods' valiant effort of saving the match by breaking Big E's pinfall.
