A title run by Braun Strowman is long overdue and it is likely that his reign will begin at Hell in a Cell. This is especially compounded by the fact that he won the Money in the Bank briefcase, and history has always been on the side of the man cashing in.

The fact that the WWE decided to have Strowman win the Money in the Bank briefcase suggests that they are indeed going to give him a run with the title. It would be immensely surprising if the WWE decided to give Strowman the unwanted honor of being one of the few men to unsuccessfully cash in the briefcase.

The WWE could have always put Strowman in the title picture without the briefcase once Reigns became champion. To have him lose in that scenario would have been a lot more acceptable than losing as Mr Money in the Bank.
