WWE has done a decent job with the match card of the final Hell in a Cell PPV, and surely, it promises to be one of the better PPVs of the year.
Things are heating up between the ‘Authority’ and the ‘Outcasts’, which will only add to the experience of the Hell in a Cell match between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. On the other side, John Cena will make his way back to the ring after a miraculous recovery from his injury.
With Hell in a Cell just a couple of days away, we look at the superstars who could leave a lasting impact on the show.
The Shield
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
These are testing times for The Shield. They recently lost their Tag Team titles and now, will face two teams instead of one, in order to win them back.
The Shield have been on a bit of a slip recently and will need to put their sizzling teamwork to good use if they want to win the titles back from the Rhodes Brothers.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are a perfect combination of speed and power and they need to put it to good use against the athletic Usos and pragmatic Rhodes Brothers.
They are the most equipped to win back the titles, but only if they can keep their eyes and ears open because against two teams, it will not be easy.
Interesting.
The Second City Saint will step inside the cell knowing that he will finally be able to get his hands on Paul Heyman, however, he will have to go through Ryback to do that.
CM Punk will have to counter the threat of two men instead of one and that, in itself, it a bit too much to ask inside the cell. Heyman could provide Ryback with all the weapons of destruction while the latter could use them to demolish Punk.
CM Punk has chosen the stipulation of the match, but many might argue that this was not one of his smartest decisions. He has decided to stack the odds against himself and that is never a good thing to do.
However, knowing Punk, he is bound to have a plan. Whether that plan is successful or not, remains to be seen.
John Cena
The champ is back! Or, is he?
John Cena will make his long awaited return when he steps in the ring to face Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The question on the minds of the WWE Universe is whether he has, indeed, recovered from his serious injury or is WWE rushing him back in order to help the ratings. Cena will face an in-form Alberto Del Rio and will have to be at his best in order to have any chance of winning the title.
Del Rio has demolished everyone who challenged him for the World Heavyweight Championship and will be hoping to inflict further damage on John Cena. Cena, on the other hand, will feed off the ecstatic WWE Universe.
So, will Cena be able to ‘Rise Above Rio’?
Big Show
Big Show is currently an unchained monster. Since he was fired from the WWE, he has been a thorn in Triple H’s way and has foiled almost all of his plans.
If Big Show does interfere in the main event, he can almost guarantee the title for Daniel Bryan. However, he might have to face the wrath of Shawn Michaels, the Special Guest Referee, if he decides to do so.
WWE has left everyone guessing with the outcome of the match, with each superstar involved showing their grey sides in the build-up to this event.
Big Show has the potential to become the single most essential factor which can turn the show upside down. And at the end of it, he will still be standing tall.
Shawn Michaels
The only man who can have a bigger impact than Big Show is none other than the Special Guest Referee for the Hell in a Cell match, Shawn Michaels.
The WWE Universe wants the Show Stopper to do the right thing and call the match right down the middle. However, HBK might have plans of his own.
He has been involved in this storyline since being named as the referee for the match and has made all the right waves so far. Michaels has crossed paths with Triple H and backed Daniel Bryan on more than one occasions. But, will he stand up for the right when the moment calls?
And, most of all, will we finally see a Sweet Chin Music?
