#3: Randy Orton Vs Jeff Hardy

Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy delivered a brutal encounter

Well, this was a pleasant surprise. Most fans, myself included, were expecting a bit of a snore fest here, but instead, we were given one of the most exciting matches of the whole night.

It didn't take long for things to get violent here, and the match quickly began to feel like some sort of attitude era throwback. Orton played the vicious heel role to perfection, and Hardy's plucky, desperate babyface narrative worked a treat.

The ending, which saw Hardy dangle from the roof of the cell before dropping through a table was a nice spot, and I'm glad that Hardy didn't go throwing himself from the roof through the announce table.

Orton's heel work over the last month has been a refreshing change for his character, and a feud between him and Shinsuke could prove to be very interesting.
