MVP was backstage at Hell in a Cell and sent a threat to Ali before Bobby Lashley was set to face Slapjack. Lashley wanted MVP to make it a title match for the US championship.

Lashley kicked off the match by manhandling Flapjack and sent him into the corner for a shoulder charge. He then bounced him off the corner and hit the stalling suplex.
Slapjack managed to sneak in a dropkick in the corner and then a cannonball. Lashley was hit with a big boot and then a DDT but Lashley kicked out. Lashley was back up and hit a suplex and locked in the Hurt Lock for the win at Hell In A Cell.
Result: Bobby Lashley def. Slapjack to retain the United States title
RETRIBUTION attacked Lashley after the match and The Hurt Business came out to save their champ. Ali and RETRIBUTION backed off without escalating things.
