You cannot talk about the Attitude Era without mentioning the most important group of the time, D Generation X. A notorious group that would take down anyone in their path if they didn't comply with their requirements.

While a lot of us remember just HHH or Shawn Michaels from the group, there were other members of the group too that gave their contributions as well, including, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and the most important member, Chyna.
She revolutionized the way women were depicted back in the day, while the group revolutionized the word 'Entertainment' in the Attitude Era and the WWE in general.
