#2 Punk drops a Pipebomb
In June 2011, CM Punk's career in WWE was in a rut.
After coming up short against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 27, Punk was leading the New Nexus, but the group had lost a lot of its power.
Fortunately, change came when Punk became the number one contender for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank, which just so happened to be in Punk's hometown.
Appearing at the end of the June 27 edition of RAW, Punk addressed a downed John Cena, then WWE Champion, cutting his infamous Pipebomb promo.
Addressing genuine frustrations with both the company and its fans, Punk vowed to leave the company at the pay per view, as champion.
Doing just that, this would be the start of an incredible summer for Punk, which would see him thrust into the main event.
