The backstory
The road to WrestleMania 32 saw Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley) go into a feud with The Beast, Brock Lesnar. WWE had brought back the likes of Mick Foley and Terry Funk to hand over a bunch of weapons to Dean Ambrose, to use them against Lesnar.
The duo met in a No Holds Barred Street Fight at The Show of Shows. The fans were expecting this to be an exciting bout, filled with weapons and hard shots.
What they got instead was a lackluster performance, with the match ending in around 13 minutes. Brock Lesnar did his usual shtick by suplexing Ambrose on several occasions and gaining an easy victory over him. The only punishment Lesnar took in the match was some kendo-stick shots, which wasn't something that was enough to thrill the capacity crowd of 100,000 sitting inside the stadium.

Moxley's disappointment
Months later, Ambrose appeared on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast after an episode of Monday Night Raw. He talked about the buildup to the match, and explained that he was severely disappointed with Lesnar's lack of interest in the bout.
According to Ambrose, he pitched a bunch of crazy ideas to the company, and wanted the match to be an exciting war that would make it worth the price of admission. But Lesnar wasn't interested at all, and shot down all the ideas. Ambrose proceeded to refer to Lesnar as being lazy.
Artistically, Brock didn’t want to do anything, if we’re going to be perfectly honest. Brock’s gonna Brock. He’s all about Brock. I had a vision for that match to be the craziest thing imaginable, you know what I mean, and I was trying to pitch everything to everybody and had every idea. I put so much effort in and so much work in, and other people did too, and I was met with laziness.
The aftermath
Three years later, Ambrose has joined another promotion and has donned the persona of Jon Moxley, while Lesnar is still signed with WWE, currently entertaining the fans with his Beastbox shtick.
