- WWE Hall Of Famer Jake The Snake Roberts was the protagonist in a documentary style movie that was released recently called 'The Resurrection of Jake the Snake’. It has been getting a lot of critical acclaim and apparently even made Stone Cold cry when he watched it.
In the midst of all this, the legendary Roberts returned to the ring Saturday night for the promotion Maryland Championship Wrestling. He was in a six man tag team match and teamed up with G-Fed and The Bruiser to defeat The Dixon Line. He hit the DDT to pick up the win for his team. Nearly 12 years after stepping into the squared circle for a match, it would have been pure nostalgic joy to watch Roberts in the ring, performing the DDT, the move that he invented, for the fans that were there for the event.
Meanwhile, his documentary is a real captivating watch on the rise of The Snake and his days of addiction and substance abuse and his recovery. It is highly recommended that you don’t miss out on it.
