- The feud between John Cena and Kevin Owens was one of the best of the year and the one most fans just dreamt off and never thought would happen. It spawned match of the year candidates and apparently drew in big numbers too.
From the PPV draws coming in, it seems that they did very well indeed. The matches between both were top notch and it received an average of 6,583 paid subscriptions from fans. The Cena and Wyatt feud in 2014 had an average of 6,000 paid. In a stark contrast, the World Heavyweight title matches between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins drew an average of 4,813 paid fans.
The company, when it comes to the live events of July 2015 have kept up with their yearly average. It got an average of 4,948 paid fans to their live events in the month of July 2015, excluding the Battleground pay-per-view. This is in line with the 4,948 average in July 2014 but down from the 5,544 in July 2013 and the 5,464 in July 2012.
