- The WWE is doing their part this year by building up solid pay-per-views with an air of uncertainty surrounding the outcome. Hell In a Cell is under a week away and the marquee match is the epic finale between Brock Lesnar and Undertaker inside the dreaded steel enclosure.
According to backstage reports, Lesnar is all set to defeat the ‘Deadman’ inside Hell In a Cell on Sunday and end their lengthy yet memorable feud for good. The second option on the cards is to let Lesnar lose via interference from a star who he is set to feud with the ‘Beast’, most likely at WrestleMania 32. As far as the period between now and WrestleMania is concerned, Lesnar is not scheduled to be in any program as of now.
Many thought that a major angle would emerge from the Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar podcast, but that was not the case. The word circulating is that Vince has something huge in the works as he is not the kind of guy who would culminate a big money feud involving Lesnar and Taker at a relatively minor pay-per-view such as Hell In a Cell. If the reports are to be believed, expect a huge return at Hell In a Cell or a major swerve that would set up the upcoming feuds for Taker and most importantly Lesnar.
The Rock has been the most talked about possibility for Lesnar to face at WM 32 as it also happens to be Vince’s brainchild and a match that he wanted to book at the grandest stage of them all for quite some time now. Although, there is no word about the Rock being at Hell In a Cell for a potential set up angle, you never know what WWE might pull out of their hats.
