- What was earlier thought to be a traditional Survivor Series 4 on 4 elimination tag team match involving the Undertaker, Kane and the Wyatts may not be the case as there were some huge developments on Smackdown.
Bray Wyatt issued a challenge to Undertaker on Smackdown and it was for a tag team match featuring two members of the Wyatt Family chosen by Bray, against the Brothers of Destruction at Survivor Series.
Undertaker accepted the challenge later on in the night making the match official, which is in complete contrast to what was earlier expected.
It seems that WWE has dropped the plans for having a 4-on-4 elimination tag match, which is a huge letdown – as the WWE Universe was looking forward to the mystery partners, one of which was rumored to be Sting.
Not that a two-on-two normal tag team match isn’t exciting, but the idea of having two mystery partners teaming up with the legendary Brothers of Destruction was an extremely tantalizing option.
Who the two members of the Wyatt family would be is not known at the moment, but expect the cult leader to divulge the details this coming week on RAW.
- Talking about the Undertaker and Smackdown, this wasn’t the only segment the Phenom was involved in as he also was part of an angle with King Barrett earlier on in the show.
It was a dark segment that started off with Barrett trash talking about Wayne Rooney and the city of Manchester as he even went on to say that he would make sure Vince never lets WWE come back to the city of Manchester ever again.
This proved to be the cue for someone to interfere and out came the Undertaker surprisingly – to a voracious applause of course. Barrett was at his baddest best when he asked Undertaker, Can I help you mate?.”
He teased a Bullhammer, but it never came as he first retreated and then was given an old-school beating by the Phenom who first left the ring, but in what was a typical Taker trait, got back and delivered two Piledrivers to Barrett that got a huge pop.
